Podcasting in the Classroom

I have found a few different ways to podcast in the classroom and am wondering what others think about the applications. I found that audacity is pretty usable and similar to Garage Band. It does not have all the same features and falls short in some areas for media rich podcasting. The website that provides a download to audacity is: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/.
